I'm really enjoying this new collaboration with my dear friend Mike at michaelmake.com. I am using watercolor backgrounds with silhouettes on top that I am cutting from bicycle inner tubes. I only give each image a maximum of about 30 minutes, but often end up with a few in that amount of time.
This project was framed as a childrens book collaboration, but we will see what it ends up being! I really love some of these images and can't wait to see where the visual narrative goes from here.
